WORKSHOPS

WORKSHOP 1: Service Design

10am1pm

Who should attend?

Small businesses dealing with complexity that is human, product or service related.

What's the workshop about?

We are all service providers. Regardless of what you offer, there is a service component to what you do.

This workshop looks at service design and customer experience, providing a simple blueprint for how to design and evaluate service.

WORKSHOP 2: Brand Experience

2pm4:30pm

Who should attend?
Anyone who is interested in creating value for your customers and organisations including businesses looking to become more competitive; designers looking to help their clients and educators interested in problem-based learning.

What's the workshop about?
Every organisation has a brand, because a brand is the sum total of all perceptions good and bad about your organisation.

A brand is not only a logo. This workshop provides a business case for brand and then discusses the building block of successful brand development

The workshops will be delivered by some of Ireland's leading design experts from the Centre of Design Innovation at Sligo I.T. For more details on the centre, please see www.designinnovation.ie

What past participants said about the day –

“Practical tools to bring back to the workplace”

“This kind of seminar should be available as soon as you enter into business. Day one”

“Informative and essential for any discerning SME who wants to drive value in their business”

“It has taken the blinkers off to what design can be and do for the business."

Why should I care?

Research conducted by the Centre has proven that Irish businesses who use design innovate more often, more effectively and compete less on price. Companies that integrate design at the highest strategic levels are 2.5 times more successful than those that do not yet only 15% of organisations use design at this level. Why? One of the reasons could be they just don’t know how. Begin to learn how during this one-day workshop.

To register. Please contact Donna Mc Fadden on 074 9160735 or donnamcfadden@donegalenterprise.ie
